Telecare Management

To plan and deliver an enabled care solution that meets every individual need requires an understanding of both the need and the available technology. We can provide training and stage local conferences on behalf of local partnerships to develop awareness, advise on technology and identify the possible changes required to deliver an effective response. We will also demonstrate to you the commercial benefits of an advanced telecare service through analysis and business modelling.

Implementation

This can range from advice, to providing an Interim Project Manager to work with your staff and senior management to providing complete implementation of a project where we hand over the working model to your managers. We will provide practical advice on the range of needs that can be met by existing systems as well as an understanding of unmet needs and how issues are addressed through our development of new technology.

We will provide equipment stockholding including inventory management to track the location of equipment and arrange transfer where provided as
part of a short term support, responsive installation within agreed timescales, responsive service within agreed timescales and equipment
maintenance including cleaning, testing, labelling, programming etc.

Telecare Advance

...a flexible service which allows customers to hold stocks of telecare equipment, but only pay for items as and when they are used.

How it works:

  • We agree an estimate of annual stock usage with the customer
  • We supply 3 months of the stock up front and without charge
  • The customer uses stock items as and when they require
  • Every month the customer sends us a stock replenishment order for items used
  • We invoice for all stock replenishment items supplied
  • Stock levels are regularly reviewed with the customer
  • Unwanted stock can be returned (as long as it is unopened & unused) with only a modest administration fee levied

Customer benefits:

  • facilitates rapid telecare deployment
  • defers and minimises the cost of customers holding their own stock
  • removes the risk of owning stock that will not get used
  • “pay as you use” principle is simple to manage
Monitoring

Monitoring of telehealth and telecare equipment can be provided.

Telehealth

Information on client health and trends is collated and stored ready for web access by clinicians, carers and support staff. Our telehealth
database is the only system where information is protected by the NHS firewall.
