The security and safety of vulnerable users can be ensured discreetly and remotely by ensuring they remain within their property at certain times of the day or night. Using magnetic contact devices the opening of doors and windows can be automatically monitored. This allows the call centre or contact the local carer to raise the alarm if a person leaves the house at an unusual time. Time periods are fully programmable allowing the best settings to be achieved for each individual.
Door contacts can also monitor intruders and can be set in an away mode which will send an alarm to the control centre if movement is detected while in this mode.
