The Chubb Care Sensor provides a unique non-intrusive, non-bodily worn solution to provide security for older and disabled people where staff are present on site to activate and deactivate when required.
The Care Sensor alarms if a person does not get back into bed within a predefined time period, measures the time it takes to get out of bed, measures the time it takes to walk from the bed to a designated point, counts the number of times the bed is left during the night and detects people entering the room when it is armed.
The Care Sensor is mounted on a wall over the bed, is easily configured using an infra-red remote control, and linked to the Intellilink or Carer Alert to trigger alarms. It allows bed exit monitoring without having pads or sensors physically in contact with the bed, giving an exceptional product lifetime with low maintenance.
