Carbon Monoxide Detector
Product Information
When gas appliances become faulty or have not been serviced correctly, a dangerous build-up of carbon monoxide can occur. As this toxic gas is colourless and odourless, it is essential that early detection is achieved.
Installing carbon monoxide detectors adjacent to the appliances in question, for example the central heating boiler or a gas fire, will ensure an emergency alarm call is raised when the gas build-up reaches a concentration which is hazardous to health. As with natural gas detection, an automatic gas shut-off valve can also be fitted if required.
