Feature-Rich Video Call Centre Solution for Telehealth

CareStation.Net is ZYDACRON’s unique virtual platform for an IP video call centre enabling remote monitoring of patients and interactive home care.

Nurses call their clients on a regular basis, offering them support with medical treatment, monitoring and checking the patient’s condition, capturing vital information via medical peripherals such as pulse oximeters, digital stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors and blood glucose monitors etc. All information is captured in the client’s database, as well as image snapshots, video clips, text notes, contact details and history.

But this solution is not only an outbound call centre. It works in both directions. With one touch of the call button the client can activate the connection to the nurse. The client will then be placed into a waiting queue and the TV screen displays a message that the nurse will be available soon. The visual queue on the nurse’s screen delivers permanently refreshed snapshots of the clients. In the case of an emergency the nurse simply selects the client from the queue.

Ease of use is fundamental for any solution that is used mainly by elderly patients. One touch dialing enables immediate connection to the call centre. In order to avoid issues of unfamiliarity with this totally new technology, the CareStation system is connected to the client’s standard TV Set. Video and Messages from the Call Centre are displayed on the TV monitor for the client’s convenience.
