Chubb Carer Alert
Product Information
The Chubb Carer Alert system is a flexible and cost effective way of providing a call system in a local care environment and can be adapted to a number of operations depending on the situation.
The Carer Alert indicates alarms from the Chubb range of Telecare solutions through indicator lights and a buzzer. Up to seven telecare devices may be assigned.
Its operational range may be increased with an optional pager system allowing the on-site carer to be mobile around the property or garden and still be alerted to a call on the system. It can also alert an off-site community alarm centre (via an IntelliLink carephone) should an alert not be answered locally.
The unit is also compatible with Chubb’s range of wireless sensory receivers which include flashing beacons and vibratory pads.
Each sensor is given a position on the device where a name, apartment number or bed number, etc. may be written beside the LED. When an alarm is sent, the LED shines steadily.
The carer alert may also be used in so-called transparent mode, which means that all sensors can send alarms whether they are programmed or not. When an alarm is sent in this mode, only the top LED lights up.
The Chubb Carer Alert also gives an alarm if the battery in any of the alarm triggers is becoming weak. The LED corresponding to the telecare sensor blinks when the alarm is sent.
The Carer Alert can be used in many situations and has proved very successful in the following fields:
- Learning disabilities
- Home care
- Falls prevention
- Dementia
- Care homes
- Hospitals
- Respite centres
The Carer Alert provides peace of mind and greater freedom of movement for formal and informal carers who live on site with the people they look after.
