Bed/Chair Occupancy Sensor

Bed Exit Monitor

An alarm is raised when a person leaves the bed by a pressure mat under the mattress. This could give indication that a user has got out of bed or a chair and is potentially putting themselves at risk.

The bed occupancy sensor with light will detect when a user has left the bed and not returned within a pre-set time.

Bogus Caller Button

Fear of crime can be significantly reduced if the emergency services can be reached at the touch of a button. A bogus caller/panic button, installed next to the front door or bed-side, allows the user raise an alarm if they fear that an intruder or bogus caller is trying to gain access to their property. Alarm calls can be configured to be totally silent if required, allowing the call centre to listen in on the situation and intervene only if thought necessary.

CO Detector

Carbon Monoxide Detector

When gas appliances become faulty or have not been serviced correctly, a dangerous build-up of carbon monoxide can occur. As this toxic gas is colourless and odourless, it is essential that early detection is achieved.

The Chubb Care Sensor provides a unique non-intrusive, non-bodily worn solution to provide security for older and disabled people where staff are present on site to activate and deactivate when required.

Door Contacts

The security and safety of vulnerable users can be ensured discreetly and remotely by ensuring they remain within their property at certain times of the day or night. Using magnetic contact devices the opening of doors and windows can be automatically monitored. This allows the call centre or contact the local carer to raise the alarm if a person leaves the house at an unusual time. Time periods are fully programmable allowing the best settings to be achieved for each individual.

Enuresis Sensor

Provides an early warning for individuals prone to incontinence while sleeping. A sensor pad placed between the bedding and mattress allows detection of excess amounts of moisture. If this occurs, an emergency alarm call can be transmitted through the IntelliLink or Carer Alert.

Epilepsy Sesnor

Epilepsy Bed Sensor

The Epilepsy Sensor will raise an alarm to a monitoring centre or other alarm recipient when a seizure is detected.

Chubb Flood Detector

Flood Detector

The Flood detector in installed within the bathroom or kitchen of a property and will alert a user when an sink/basin or bath overflow occurs, or if it detects water on the floor from other sources such as a burst pipe or from a flood from a flat above. It can also send an automatic call to the control centre.

Heat Detector

In certain locations of a property, the kitchen for example, it can be found that smoke detectors give too many false activations.

PIR Detector

Inactivity Monitoring using PIR Detection

Working with the IntelliLink Executive and Carer Alert, the PIR can look for movement within a defined time. If the user has not moved within that period, due to a fall or feeling unwell, the carephone will send an alarm to the carer/monitoring centre.

Verso Fall Detector

IntelliLink Fall Detector

The fall detector can be worn around the neck or attached to the users belt or clothing and can notify a carer or monitoring centre immediately that a user has had a fall, increasing their chances of returning to independent living. The Fall detector is a integrated Trigger and Fall Detector therefore separate devices are not required

Universal Transmitter

IntelliLink Universal Transmitter

Universal transmitters can be used to link many types of additional sensors or items of auxiliary equipment via radio, to the IntelliLink unit which forwards a call to the control centre. All that is required is a suitable volt free contact, which will close the alarm.

PIR Detector

Intruder Monitoring Using PIR Detection

If the user leaves their property to stay with friends or visit a day centre, a button on the carephone is used to set the system into ‘away’ mode. The ‘away’ mode will detect any intruder, giving peace of mind to the user.

Low Temperature Detector

During the winter months, one of the greatest dangers to the elderly and vulnerable is insufficient heating of their property. If this continues over a period of days, or even hours, hypothermia can set in within a surprisingly short time.

Natural Gas Detector

The Natural gas detector will raise an immediate alarm when it detects gas.

Pull Cord

In extra care situations it may be preferable to have fixed emergency call points in certain rooms of the home. Pull cords can be ceiling mounted in convenient locations allowing the user to raise an alarm if their pendant trigger is not accessible. The alarm is raised by simply pulling down on the distinctive orange cord, which incorporates two triangular handles to provide ease of grip.
