The majority of people now recognise that it is essential to have a smoke alarm fitted within their home, and the reassurance this provides can now be greatly enhanced with our smoke alarm.

When a fire is detected, the unit provides a loud audible warning to the user automatically sending an emergency alarm signal through the IntelliLink or Carer Alert to a local carer. When the signal is received at the call centre, the alarm is recognised as a priority call, and the operator can contact the resident to double check it is not a false alarm, if there is no response or the alarm is confirmed, the emergency services can be alerted.

The smoke alarm is supplied with a pattress for easy installation, and several smoke alarms can be installed within the property if required.

Technical Information

• Size – Base diameter 85mm, Depth 60mm
• Power Requirements – The Smoke Detector has a 10 year battery life but this product does not contain replaceable batteries so once the battery life has expired the unit must be replaced. The Radio Interface has a 5 year battery life depending on useage.

• Warranty – 2 year warranty provided subject to being purchased under one of the Buying Solutions, Northern Housing Consortium or Scotland Excel Agreements
