The Chubb Care Sensor provides a unique non-intrusive, non-bodily worn solution to provide security for older and disabled people where staff are present on site to activate and deactivate when required.
The Care Sensor alarms if a person does not get back into bed within a predefined time period, measures the time it takes to get out of bed, measures the time it takes to walk from the bed to a designated point, counts the number of times the bed is left during the night and detects people entering the room when it is armed.
The Care Sensor is mounted on a wall over the bed, is easily configured using an infra-red remote control, and linked to the Horizon+ carephone to trigger alarms. It allows bed exit monitoring without having pads or sensors physically in contact with the bed, giving an exceptional product lifetime with low maintenance.
