Lifestyle Monitoring Products

QuietCare monitors lifestyle activity and is unique as it predicts normal behavioural patterns and reports significant changes, warning of developing problems and prompting early intervention. It can also be used in conjunction with other procedures as an assessment tool for telecare.

QuietCare monitors key Activities of Daily Living including:

•bathroom usage
•meal preparation
•interaction with medication
•sleeping patterns
•overall activity level

QuietCare will also alert to:

•a failure to exit the bathroom within a reasonable period of time
•no morning bedroom exit
•night-time wandering
•low and high ambient room temperatures
•lower than normal overall activity levels
•changes to normal meal preparation activity
•changes to normal night time bathroom visits
•power/telephone/system malfunction

Such timely, accurate and actionable information enables Service Clients and their carers to make better decisions relating to their safe, independent and dignified living. It provides peace of mind to carers and helps care professionals make assessments and improve the quality and efficiency of care they provide.

As QuietCare is a passive system that requires no behavioural change or intervention on the part of the Service Client it is particularly suited for use with vulnerable and at-risk user groups, such as people at risk of falling, people with dementia, diabetes or other chronic conditions.
