Scotland Excel Awards Chubb Telecare Framework Agreement

Chubb Community Care, one of the UK’s leading providers of social alarm and telecare services, after an extensive tender application has been awarded the supply and delivery of telecare equipment and associated services framework from Scotland Excel. Chubb is part of UTC Climate, Controls and Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

Scotland Excel is the Centre of Procurement Expertise for the local government sector in Scotland. Established in 2008, their remit is to work collaboratively with members and suppliers to raise procurement standards, secure best value for customers and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector procurement in Scotland.

The framework is for telecare provision consisting of 10 lots from telecare base units through to lifestyle monitoring and location devices. Chubb is one of only there organisation to have been successful on each. The framework will run until December 2013 with an option to expand until December 2014.
