Running for over five years, Learning Disability Today celebrates what is being achieved to enable people with learning disabilities to live full and active lives through the sharing of best practice, debate on policy, participation in engaging zones, and networking with hundreds of people with learning disabilities and professionals working in the sector.
A series of seminars dedicated to sharing best practice and offering a platform for debate. Speakers include government ministers, national organisations and charities, people with learning disabilities, frontline workers and academics.
The seminar programme is designed to enable discussion on current policy changes, examples of best practice, new approaches and current issues.
