Chubb Launches New Products

Chubb Community Care are proud to announce the launch of the new Chubb Carer Alert, Chair Pressure Mat, Smoke Detector, PIR, Verso Dexterity Adapter and the new Chubb Marketing Pack.
Chubb Carer Alert
In many cases there may be a need for an on-site carer to be notified immediately that an incident has occurred.
The new Chubb Carer Alert indicates alarms from portable and stationary Telecare solutions utilising our range of sensory receivers including flashing beacons and vibratory pads through seven indicator lights and a buzzer to which up to seven telecare devices may be assigned.
The Carer Alert can be used in many situations and has proved very successful in the following fields:
- Learning disabilities
- Home care
- Falls prevention
- Dementia
- Care homes
- Hospitals
- Respite centres

Chair Pressure Pad
The chair pressure pad can be placed beneath a cushion in a chair. An alarm is raised when the pressure is taken of the pressure pad and indicates that the user is potentially at risk. If the user has not returned within a predetermined time period, the IntelliLink or the Carer Alert unit will activate and notify the Control Centre or the local Carer.

Smoke Detector
The new low cost smoke detector offers many features. The main benefits to the smaller system is the 10 year battery life, the unit not only has a visual battery indication for when the life is coming to the end but also has a sell buy date on the unit so that customers can keep track on when units are due to expire. Another benefit to this system is that there is an easy to use big button to test the unit, this button allows tests to be made without the use of step ladders so prevents people from falling.

PIR
The new low cost Chubb PIR (Passive Infra Red) can be used not only for inactivity or intruder monitoring but can also be used as an out of room system instead of the door contacts. This smaller system is easier to maintain as it only has one battery to power both the unit and the pendant.

Verso Dexterity Adapter
For many people with limited dexterity the pendent has either not been an option for the user or they have struggled to activate the pendent. Here at Chubb we recognised this and have developed the innovative Verso Dexterity Adapter. This easy to use adapter allows the user to push the pendant whenever they are in need.
The Adapter can not only be worn around the neck but can be attached to the bed or next to the door for Bogus Callers.

Telecare Marketing Pack
Chubb understands that our customers may not always have the resources to succesfully market their telecare service. In order to combat this, Chubb have developed a couple of Telecare marketing packs.
Package 1 – The Telecare Package is an innovative marketing campaign will attract the attention of your audience to enable you to increase your telecare service. The package includes:
- Advert
- A3 size posters with a print run of 5 posters
- Telecare leaflet with reply slip with a print run of 1000 leaflets
- Telecare Sensor Sheet with a print run of 250 flyers
