An array of statistics from various bodies continue to highlight Falls as being one of the main reasons why people move away from independent living.

Telecare has delivered much in the area of falls detection but more is needed to ensure that everyone, regardless of their needs and capabilities can be allocated with a package of telecare that will detect when they fall and through a tailored response service, allow them to remain as independent as possible.

That is why Chubb Community Care has made it their goal to create and supply the most robust fall detection package on the market.

At the TSA National Telecare and Telehealth Conference in Nov 08, Chubb will be launching two new fall solutions with a third to follow early in the new year that will go some way to meeting this goal.

For daytime use, Chubb are launching a enhanced version of their current fall detector that has been developed with wearability in mind.

For Night-time use, Chubb are launching an all-new bed occupancy sensor which has been designed to be highly effective, simple to install and through a range of options, ensure that it can be used on any bed, any mattress and any weight of user.

For more information, please come and visit us at our stand at TSA where our dedicated team will be happy to demonstrate the new units together with a sneak preview of the all-new fall detector that will enhance the package further in 2009.
