Birmingham Careline Recommends the Chubb Saturn System
In 2007, Birmingham Careline decided to look at upgrading their call handling system. They had previously used the Attendo Care Control system. As an alternative, Chubb offered Birmingham to look at their Saturn system. In order for Birmingham to view how the Saturn system worked they visited a few of the many Saturn control centres which operate throughout the UK.
Birmingham was very impressed by the ability to handle assistive technology, provide statistical information and report KPI’s. They also liked the fact that calls hitting the call stack were coloured to identify with the TSA response times.
Due to this, they placed the order for the Chubb Saturn system. Birmingham was very impressed by the installation of Saturn, “the live” day went smoothly and the Chubb Saturn team was on call for any problems that night, of which they were not any.
Tracy Lee, Careline Manager said “The training for the staff was of high quality and staff focused. I found the training to be of a higher quality than other providers I’d had first hand experience of.”
Birmingham Careline have now achieved the TSA Parts 1 and 2. They started working towards the accreditation process from the point of going live with Saturn, this was a slow process of putting day to day procedures and policies into place where there had never been any, this was all new to the staff and so took a while to get it consistent and right. The time taken from the pre-audit to inspection was 5 weeks.
