In April 2003, two decades after the company’s first BSI registration to a recognised quality standard, Chubb Community Care, as part of Chubb Electronic Security Systems Limited, became the first company within the community care market to achieve BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
BS EN ISO 9001:2000 recognises the importance of ‘the competence of people in delivering and carrying out a service to the customer’. You can therefore rest assured that staff at Chubb have the skills and resources to plan, manage and implement any project irrespective of size or complexity.��?
Chubb’s headquarters in Blackburn, Lancashire is now registered by the BSI to BS EN ISO 14001 for Environmental Management. This standard, which was actively encouraged by several of Chubb’s national clients, has established good environmental practice within the organisation. Clear objectives and targets have been set to further improve performance with waste management, emissions to the atmosphere, fuel use and efficient control of resources.
